Montauk Club wedding, Brooklyn NY. Grandama's attic style flowers.

I don't know how I get so lucky with getting the sweetest couples ever. Julie and Stu came over for a consult about 2 months before their big day. They wanted a "Grandma's attic" style wedding using vintage medicine bottles, mason jars, and Julie's hand painted, hand build stamp pad display on each table. They got married at the gorgeous Montauk Club in Park Slope Brooklyn and their flowers were a complete joy to make.

Earthy green thumb wedding in NYC

My client for this Oct 9th wedding was a very down to earth garden grower who's colors were burgundy and lavender. I LOVED putting her collection together. It was one of my fav's over the weekend. For the favors table, we did a bunch of little bud vases with burgundy scabiosa and rose mary sprigs. The bridal bouquet was made of white callas mixed with lavender and whispy greens. The brides maids bouquet's were made of fresh lavender and scabiosa pods. I loved the wristletts for the moms! They were made with mini succulents and fresh lavender on an adjustable, aluminum bracelet.
